We had a very busy weekend. Saturday morning I decided it was time to take Jameson to one of my favorite places. The library. I can remember going and getting my first library card and checking out books and being so excited. I let Jameson pick out his first book, surprise surprise it was Curious George. After going downstairs to check out I was so sad to find out they don't actually make cards anymore. Everything is done on the computer. I guess I'm old fashioned about stuff like that, I was so excited to see his name on his own little card for some reason.
We made lunch and then headed to the fair. It was mostly...hot. Jameson did get to ride the merry go round and pet the animals though. Walking through the barns all he said was, "Cow poop? Cow poop?"

"I'm gonna sell you to the gypsys."
Today was well, that kind of day. Jameson has been picking up on some ornery behaviors from some others at school and I told him more than once today, "I'm gonna sell you to the gypsys" and "I'm not taking you to the hospital if you get hurt." Anyone who doesn't realize I'm kidding, eh, move on. He's already almost twenty months so I'm honestly I'm probably pretty fortunate this is just starting. He really is a good boy, just starting to act more and more like, well, a boy. No pictures or video today :)

First day of "school"
Jameson was very excited to be back to school. Our theme this week is farm animals and he learned to say a few new words today. We've added some new friends to his class, and he spent most of his day picking on, flirting with or generally annoying one little girl. Its a good thing he's so handsome, huh?
He was completely exhausted by the end of the day and came home, begged to watch George, was told no and fell asleep. Here's a little video of his new words :) He's getting so big.

And so it begins
This is my first attempt at blogging, so if it's completely awful, please, please, don't tell me.
Many of Jameson's family members live far away. So for the meantime, while I'm sick of Facebook, this will be your one stop shop for all things Jameson. Tomorrow is his first day back to school and I'm sure we'll have lots of fun things to share. Stay tuned.
